The play
Write one email to one person, by name, about one thing. That is the whole play. Email has no algorithm to please and no feed to win. It wins on relevance and speed, both of which you fully control. A hundred personal emails will out-earn a thousand-address blast, and Aura Blaster is built for the first shape, not the second.
So stop thinking of email as broadcast. Think of it as the place conversations go to get finished. Someone commented on your post. Someone grabbed your lead magnet. Someone half-said yes in a DM. Email is where you say the specific thing that closes the loop, with room to be clear instead of clever.
That is why it sits at the end of the chain. Other channels get the word out. Email is where you capture what they started, and where you make sure it does not rot. It is the only channel where a four-day-old thread is still openable, still in context, and still yours.
What this platform is actually good at
Email's real strength is ownership and memory. No platform can throttle your reach, change the rules on you, or lock your account away from your own contacts. Threads persist, so a conversation you started in March is still readable in July with the full history attached. Its real limit is that it does zero discovery for you.
- Ownership: your addresses are yours. No feed rank, no shadowban, no API change sitting between you and the person.
- Memory: threading carries the whole history, so you can restart a cold conversation without re-explaining who you are.
- Room to be specific: pricing, scope, a real answer to an objection. Things that read as a wall of text in a DM read as normal in email.
- Limit: no discovery. Nobody stumbles onto you here. Every address has to come from somewhere else first.
- Limit: volume punishes you. Sending the same email to more people is how you land in spam and burn addresses you cannot get back.
Get the word out
Outbound email is a harvesting motion, not a broadcasting one. Your job each week is to move a small number of named people from "saw you somewhere" to "in a thread with you." Five to ten real emails a week is a realistic load for one person, and it is already more than most founders actually send.
Format that wins: a subject line a human would type in lowercase, two or three short paragraphs, one ask, one link at most. No header image. No signature block the size of a business card.
- Monday: pick five people who interacted with you last week, a commenter, a reply, a signup, and send each a two-paragraph email that references the specific thing they did.
- Tuesday: send one follow-up to everyone who did not reply to last week's five. One line, same thread, no guilt trip.
- Wednesday: write one short "here's what I just made" note and send it individually to your ten to twenty warmest contacts, not as a list.
- Thursday: email your last three buyers or clients one genuine question about how it is going. This is where testimonials and referrals come from.
- Friday: sweep your other channels for anyone who gave you an email address this week, and load them into next Monday's five.
Capture the interest
In email the reply is the conversion, not the click. A link asks someone to leave the thread and go evaluate you alone. A question keeps them in the thread with you. Ask for the reply first, and make the link the thing they get after they answer.
When you do link, link once, and point it at your Aura Store page rather than a bare checkout. The store page carries your offer, your price and your proof in one place, and it works whether they buy today or bookmark it for next month.
- Reply-ask: "Want the checklist I mentioned? Reply with a yes and it's in your inbox today."
- Two-option close: "Easier for you, the 20-minute version or the full walkthrough? Tell me which and it's yours."
- Specific hook: "You asked about pricing under my launch post. Here's the honest answer, and it depends on one thing."
- Permission exit: "If this isn't for you, reply 'not now' and I'll stop. No hard feelings."
- Subjects that get answered: "quick question about your launch", "the thing I mentioned", "following up on your comment".
Don't lose it
Email is rarely lost to bad writing. It is lost to slow writing. Interest has a half-life measured in hours, and the person who wrote you Monday morning has already asked someone else by Thursday. Same business day is the bar. Inside an hour, during your working hours, is an advantage almost nobody bothers to hold.
Answer in the thread today
Three sentences in the same thread today do more than a considered essay on Friday. Send the short version now and offer the long one if they want it.
Cadence for a thread that goes quiet: follow up once after two or three days, once more after a week, then stop and re-engage them somewhere lighter. Two follow-ups is persistence. Five is a reason to get marked as spam. Always reply inside the existing thread so the context travels with you.
Approve-before-send is what makes speed safe. Every inbound email lands in the Magic Queue with a draft already written in your voice, so answering is reading, fixing a line, and sending. Nothing goes out that you have not read. Fast, and still you.
Set it up in Aura Blaster
Setup is one pass and takes about fifteen minutes. Do it in this order.
- Open Channels and connect email. Gmail connects with OAuth in two clicks. Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Zoho, Fastmail, AOL or a custom host connect over IMAP/SMTP with an app password.
- Connect every address you actually use, including the one on your domain and your support address. Aura Blaster supports multiple email accounts per org and feeds them all into one unified inbox.
- Fill in Persona: what you sell, how you talk, your standard objection answers, and your purchase link. This is what makes the drafts sound like you instead of like a template.
- Set Strategy: how often you want to send, your goal, your tone, and any platforms to exclude. The Blast Queue reads this when it builds your moves.
- Work the Magic Queue daily. Inbound mail is polled every couple of minutes, and each new message arrives with an AI draft in email register, a greeting and a few short paragraphs, not DM shorthand. Approve, edit, regenerate or skip. Replies thread correctly.
- Leave the loop guards alone. Newsletters, no-reply senders and auto-responders are skipped, so your queue stays actual conversations.
- Use the Blast Queue for outbound. Email is a task type there, so the queue hands you "send this email" moves with a draft ready and opens the composer. Hit Remind me to resurface a follow-up in three days, and check Calendar for the week ahead.
One thing to be clear about: this is one-to-one and one-to-few email that a human approves. Aura Blaster is not a bulk email-blasting platform. That is deliberate, because the approved one-to-one shape is the one that still works.
What kills it
Email failures are self-inflicted and boringly consistent. These six cover almost all of them.
- Writing to a list when you meant to write to a person. Fix: use their name and reference something only they did.
- Burying the ask under three paragraphs of setup. Fix: one ask, on its own line, near the top.
- Formal voice that sounds nothing like your posts. Fix: read it out loud, and cut any sentence you would never say.
- Stacking three links and two attachments. Fix: one link, pointing at your Aura Store page.
- Letting drafts sit in the Magic Queue overnight. Fix: clear it twice a day, morning and late afternoon, and send the short version.
- Chasing a silent thread six times. Fix: two follow-ups, then stop and re-engage them on another channel.
Your first two weeks
One thing at a time. Work straight down the list — every line is a single move you can finish today, and none of them needs the one under it to be done first.
- Connect your main email account in Channels, Gmail OAuth or an IMAP/SMTP app password.
- Add every other address you use so one inbox covers all of them.
- Fill in Persona with your offer, your tone and your purchase link before you send anything.
- Set Strategy so the Blast Queue knows your cadence and goal.
- Send five personal emails to people who interacted with you in the last month.
- Clear the Magic Queue twice a day and reply the same business day, every day.
- Follow up once, in-thread, on every week-one email that got no reply.
- Replace the link in your next five emails with a reply-ask and see what happens.
- Email your last three buyers one real question about how it is going.
- Reuse the two subject lines that got replies and drop the ones that did not.
