TikTok strategy: reach wide, capture where you own it

TikTok is the cheapest reach in the product and the worst place to close, so move people off it fast.

The play

Pick one repeatable video format and post it three to five times a week. Not five formats. One. TikTok decides what to push based on how a video performs with strangers, not on who follows you, which means a brand-new account can get in front of more people in a week here than anywhere else in this product.

Then spend equal effort on the exit. You get one bio link, an audience that scrolls past in under a second, and no way to automate a reply. Nobody there chose you. The algorithm handed you to them for eight seconds. The job of the video is not to sell. It is to make one specific person want the thing sitting behind your link.

That gives TikTok the cleanest three-beat shape in the whole product. Get the word out: video does the reach, cheaper than any other surface. Capture the interest: one bio link pointing at your Aura Store, one clear prompt in the video driving people to it. Don't lose it: the actual conversation happens on a channel you own, because TikTok will not hold it for you.

What this platform is actually good at

Its strength is distribution to people who have never heard of you. Its limit is almost everything that comes after that. Judge TikTok on how many strangers it hands you, not on how many of them buy on the spot.

  • Reach without an audience. A cold account can land a video in front of thousands, which no other platform in the product reliably does.
  • Video or nothing that works. Text posts exist and go nowhere, so every real move costs you a shoot, not just a sentence.
  • Links live in the bio, not in the video. The path from watching to clicking is longer than on any other channel.
  • No messaging API. Inbound TikTok DMs and comments cannot be drafted or automated, so every reply is you, by hand, in the TikTok app.
  • Attention is transient. A video that pops on Tuesday does nothing for you by Friday unless it sent someone somewhere permanent.

Get the word out

Hook in the first two seconds, one idea per video, talk to one person. Shot on a phone, face to camera, beats produced. Series beat one-offs because a viewer who liked video four will watch video five. Three to five posts a week is what you can sustain alone, and the only way to hit it consistently is batching.

  1. Batch-shoot once a week. Block ninety minutes, shoot four to six videos back to back, same shirt, same light, no editing between takes.
  2. Post one video a day, three to five days a week. Never two in a day. One thing at a time applies here too.
  3. Run one recurring series with a named format, like a mistake you see every week or a question you get every week.
  4. Answer a real question someone actually asked you. Open with their words, not yours.
  5. Spend ten minutes a day commenting on other videos in your niche as your handle. Useful comments, not emojis.
  6. Every two weeks, reshoot your best performer with a new hook. Same content, different first two seconds.

Capture the interest

Two capture shapes work here and nothing else does. First, a comment prompt: ask people to comment a word, then deliver by hand. Second, a spoken bio-link call to action, said out loud and shown on screen, because nobody reads your bio unprompted. Both point at the same destination, which is your Aura Store page. That is where the checklist, the guide, the course, or the coaching call actually lives.

The bio link is your only real door

Point it at one thing, your Aura Store page, and leave it there. Change what the video sells, not where the link goes. Rotating the link every week means half your reach lands on something that no longer exists.

  • Comment prompt: "Comment SETUP and I'll send you the exact one from this video." Then actually send it, the same day, yourself.
  • Spoken bio call to action: "Link in my bio, first thing you'll see is the long version of this." Say it at the end, not the start.
  • First DM after someone replies: "You asked what to charge for a first retainer. What are you charging now?" A question, not a pitch.
  • Store-first framing: "That's step one of four. The other three are in the free guide on my page."

Don't lose it

Comments show up in the first hour after posting. That is when a reply is worth the most, to the person and to the video. Because TikTok has no messaging API, none of that is drafted for you. You open the app, you reply, you sound like yourself. Budget ten minutes after each post and ten more that evening.

The failure mode that kills deals here is a video that does numbers with nowhere to land. Views spike, forty people comment, you reply to six of them three days later, and the whole thing evaporates. Fix it in this order: destination first, then reach. Reply the same day to anyone who asked a question, and move them off the platform in that first reply.

Once they land somewhere you have connected, approve-before-send takes over. Every incoming message on a connected channel gets an AI-drafted reply held in your Magic Queue for you to approve, edit, regenerate, or skip. Nothing sends without you. That is the difference between a TikTok viewer and a conversation you can still find next month.

Set it up in Aura Blaster

TikTok takes about a minute to connect. Everything that matters here sits around that connection, not inside it.

  1. On the Channels page, save your TikTok @handle so your TikTok moves get tagged, and authorize posting if you want scheduled uploads. There is no inbox to connect, because TikTok has no messaging API.
  2. Fill out Persona: who you help, how you talk, your objections, and your purchase link. Set the purchase link to your Aura Store page so every draft points where your bio points.
  3. In Strategy, set posting frequency to three to five a week and pick your tone and content style. Leave TikTok in the platform list. Excluding it stops the Blast Queue from ever recommending it.
  4. Work the Blast Queue one item at a time. A TikTok item arrives platform-tagged with a ready-to-edit draft, usually a hook and caption, and deep-links you to the right place. Use "Remind me" when you cannot shoot right now.
  5. Schedule your batch. Aura Blaster uploads the video to your TikTok inbox and you tap once to caption and publish, which sidesteps TikTok's direct-posting audit. Video is mandatory, so nothing schedules without a file.
  6. Check the Calendar view to see reminders and scheduled posts together. If three days are empty, that is your next shoot day.
  7. Connect the channels that do support messaging so Magic Queue can hold drafted replies there, then aim your TikTok call to action at those channels and at your Aura Store.

What kills it

Most TikTok failure is not the algorithm. It is one of these six.

  • Switching format every day so nothing compounds. Pick one format and run it for thirty videos before you decide it does not work.
  • Pitching in the first three seconds. Earn the watch first and put the offer at the end or in the bio.
  • Rotating the bio link to match the latest video. Point it at your Aura Store permanently and change the video's pitch instead.
  • Treating comments as vanity metrics. Every question in the comments is someone asking you to sell to them, so answer it the same day in your own words.
  • Chasing reach before the destination exists. Build the Store page and the offer first, because reach with nowhere to land is just free entertainment.
  • Letting Blast Queue items pile up because shooting feels heavy. Batch-shoot once a week so the queue hands you a caption, not a camera day.

Your first two weeks

One thing at a time. Work straight down the list — every line is a single move you can finish today, and none of them needs the one under it to be done first.

  • Save your TikTok @handle on the Channels page and finish your Persona, including the purchase link.
  • Build your Aura Store page and put its link in your TikTok bio before you post anything. If the website field is not there, switch to a Business account to get it.
  • Set Strategy to three to five posts a week and leave TikTok in the platform list.
  • Pick one video format and write ten hooks for it in a single sitting.
  • Batch-shoot four videos in ninety minutes, schedule them, and tap through the TikTok handoff to publish each one.
  • Reply by hand, the same day, to every comment that contains a question.
  • Run the same format for ten more videos and change only the hook.
  • Add a comment-word call to action to two videos and deliver what you promised within the day.
  • Move three commenters to a channel you have connected and let Magic Queue draft the replies for you to approve.
  • Open the Calendar, drop your two weakest hooks, and reshoot your best performer with a new opening line.
